株式会社エフ・ディー・シー, provider of the skill management tool fapi, announced the launch of free distribution of a collection of “Skill Tree for the Food Service, Retail and Service Industries” templates that can be used in Excel. The templates are intended to reduce the data-entry burden in the field, improve QSC and support workforce development for multi-location operations.
株式会社エフ・ディー・シー, provider of fapi, a tool supporting skill management and assignment management, has begun offering a free collection of skill-tree templates for the food service, retail and service industries. The templates can be easily implemented in Excel and are designed for immediate use in the field. They can be downloaded from the URL provided in the official announcement.
The company explains that skill management is becoming increasingly important for maintaining and improving QSC in the field, standardising quality across stores, bringing part-time staff up to speed quickly and optimising shift assignments. At the same time, companies face challenges such as defining skills from scratch and preventing operations from becoming a mere formality. The template collection incorporates fapi’s expertise and has been made available to address these issues.
Three features of the templates are highlighted. First, they cover all 30 skill items, substantially reducing the work required to create them. Second, the items are designed at a level of detail that is easy for field staff to enter and directly relevant to day-to-day operations. Finally, the templates incorporate a design directly linked to appropriate staff placement, consistent quality across multiple locations and the development of new employees.
