MUSASHI SEIMITSU INDUSTRY CO.,LTD. has launched a joint demonstration with 大和製罐 and アプデエナジー, combining a cloud system that manages and diagnoses battery degradation in real time with the company’s technology for integrating batteries via DC.
The demonstration will be conducted at 大和製罐’s Tokyo Plant in Sagamihara, connecting and operating multiple batteries, including reused batteries, solar power facilities, hybrid supercapacitors and an energy management system via DC. The project will use operating data to assess the condition and energy efficiency of each facility, and evaluate operating methods and economic viability based on the diagnostic results.
The initiative originated with Sagamihara City’s open innovation program, “Sagamihara Innovation Gate 2023,” and the proof-of-concept period runs through March 2028.
