FPT Japan Holdings and Qsol have entered into a basic agreement to pursue medium- to long-term collaboration in system development, operations and maintenance for the Kyuden Group. The collaboration will center on establishing an offshore development center (ODC) in Da Nang, Vietnam, with the aim of improving development productivity and quality by combining the resources and expertise of both companies.
Qsol will draw on its long track record in system development and operations for the power industry, while FPT will use its global development capabilities and IT talent to support digital transformation and system modernization at Japanese companies. Through the ODC, the companies will work to build a framework for sharing expertise in project management, development, operations and maintenance, with the aim of strengthening their technical capabilities and operational know-how.
Looking ahead, the two companies have begun operating the Da Nang ODC from August 2026 and plan to continue their collaboration through phased expansion, while aiming to strengthen their long-term partnership through technical exchanges and personnel development initiatives.
