A free online seminar for business owners and personnel and labor affairs staff at small and medium-sized enterprises will cover the practical implementation of harassment prevention measures. The seminar will be held on 10 September and 7 October, with a focus on the key points of the legal amendments taking effect in October 2026.
社会保険労務士法人とうかい announced that it will hold the free online “Harassment Prevention Seminar for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” on 10 September 2026 and 7 October 2026. The seminar will provide an overview of the mandatory customer harassment prevention measures and measures to prevent sexual harassment during the recruitment process, which will take effect shortly, as well as practical guidance on responding to them.
The background to the seminar is the legal amendment taking effect in October 2026, which will require all employers to take measures to prevent customer harassment and job-hunting sexual harassment. As the requirements will also apply to small and medium-sized enterprises without a grace period, the seminar will emphasize the need to establish specific procedures and systems.
The seminar will focus on 3 points: “the perspective needed to review company-wide measures rather than stopping at the creation of rules in name only,” “building systems that improve the effectiveness of implementation,” and “ways to make use of experts while limiting the demands on internal resources.” Akita Daiki (秋田大輝) of とうかい will speak at the seminar and introduce case studies and practical implementation expertise.
The seminar will be held online on 10 September 2026 from 13:00 to 14:00 and on 7 October 2026 from 15:00 to 16:00. It is intended for business owners and personnel and labor affairs staff, excluding those from companies in the same industry. Participation is free, and applications can be submitted through the official website.
