Saizeriya is offering the ¥350 (tax included) desserts “Strawberry Meringata” and “Salted Caramel Meringata” at select locations. The desserts are based on meringata imported directly from Italy, bringing the lineup back.\n\nThe Strawberry Meringata combines strawberry-flavored meringue and cream, topped with a pink cookie. The Salted Caramel Meringata, meanwhile, combines caramel-flavored meringue and cream, with a brown cookie on top.\n\nSaizeriya has sold the winter-limited ice cake “Meringata” since 2017, and these two desserts are positioned as a “comeback” with updated flavors. They have also received positive reactions on social media.\n\nSaizeriya has also offered location-exclusive desserts from time to time. Recent additions have included milk gelato with white peach sauce, tiramisu and profiteroles from mid-May, followed by apple tart in early June.
