NATORI CO.,LTD. and はごろもフーズ will release the new collaboration snack “Shakitto! Corn Pencil Karpas” nationwide on 26 August 2024. It uses 31% “Shakitto! Corn,” the No. 1 canned-corn brand by market share, and features a new combination of sweet and salty flavors.
NATORI CO.,LTD. announced that it will release its new snack “Shakitto! Corn Pencil Karpas,” made with はごろもフーズ’ “Shakitto! Corn,” nationwide on Monday, 26 August 2024.
The product is made using a pencil karpas base that brings out the sweetness of “Shakitto! Corn,” with corn accounting for 31% of the product. The corn is quick-frozen within 4 hours of harvest, allowing consumers to enjoy its sweetness without added sugar.
As part of the collaboration, はごろもフーズ is also scheduled to launch “Shakitto! Corn Butaco & Jackie Karpas” at the same time, in addition to the companies’ previous joint products. Promotional activities will include the use of a shared logo design.
The company representative explained that the product is intended to offer a healthy snack that parents and children can enjoy with confidence, while leveraging the health image of corn and the appeal of vegetable ingredients to lay the groundwork for future demand for meal replacements.
