Against a backdrop of progress in satellite launches, QPS Holdings Inc. announced its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2027. Full-year revenue of ¥10 billion and net profit of ¥2.7 billion are expected.
According to the earnings report released on 14 October 2026, QPS Holdings Inc.'s results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending May 2027 were revenue of ¥1.9 billion, operating profit of ¥600 million, and net profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥500 million. The successful launch of 2 satellites is expected to advance constellation construction.
For the full year, the company expects revenue of ¥10 billion and net profit of ¥2.7 billion. Expanded satellite operations are cited as a factor supporting greater opportunities to sell data. At the same time, risks including the burden of upfront investment and launch delays have been identified.
As of late October, satellite launch progress was continuing, and initial operations were advancing together with the satellites already in commercial operation. Some media reports have cited factors that could delay the full-scale launch of overseas sales.
