The Fukocot Tama Karakida store is reportedly scheduled to open in January 2027 on the former site of a カワチ薬品 store in 1-chome Karakida, Tama, Tokyo. The site covers 14,876 m², with a total floor area of 10,285 m². The store floor area has not been determined, and the number of parking spaces is unknown. The development will center on the Fukocot food supermarket, with multiple stores expected to open.
The facility is planned to include the Karakida Medical Mall, allowing visitors to use medical services and shopping facilities together as part of their daily activities. Fukocot is a new format developed by Yaoko. The Akishima store had previously been the only Fukocot store in Tokyo, but the new opening is expected to expand customer traffic in the Tama and Hachioji areas.
Tenant information currently available from recruitment listings and other sources indicates that, in addition to Fukocot, tenants including an unnamed pediatric clinic and dental clinic are planned. The tenant mix is expected to be updated going forward. Ahead of the opening, the location next to Green Walk Tama has attracted attention as a competitive advantage.
