Business France’s Trade and Investment Office at the Embassy of France in Japan announced that the ICC Immersion Japan 2026 mission, featuring 9 innovative companies driving France’s cultural and creative industries, will take place from 14 to 18 September. The mission aims to showcase their technological capabilities and creativity in animation, immersive content, 3DCG and gaming in the Japanese market, while creating opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
The 9 participating companies will stay in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, expanding their contacts through group visits to Japanese companies and networking events. Their fields include animation production, as well as immersive content, 3DCG and game development.
On 15 September, the Japan–France Animation Open Meeting will be held, featuring speed-matching sessions between visual-media companies and Japanese companies. A networking reception will be held at the residence of the Ambassador of France that evening. During Tokyo Game Show, a French Delegation table will be set up in the business meeting area to facilitate business discussions between Japanese and French companies.
ICC Immersion is a program launched in September 2022 as part of France’s national long-term investment plan, France 2030. It is jointly operated under the Ministry of Culture by Business France and Institut français.
