United Supermarkets Holdings announced that Maruetsu will open reservations for Christmas cakes and osechi. Applications for 2026 Christmas cakes and 2027 osechi will be accepted in stores and online.
The lineup includes original products from Maruetsu, Kasumi, and Inageya, as well as cakes supervised by famous hotels and assortments from popular Western-style confectionery shops. It also features products for the year-end and New Year dining table, including Maruetsu-exclusive osechi products such as “Shokaku” and “Kagayaki.” Multiple sizes and contents are available, with details including diameter, price before tax, reservation period, and collection date.
As a set-purchase bonus, customers will receive 500 WAON POINT for each transaction in which they purchase either one Christmas cake or osechi set and one hors d’oeuvre, sashimi, sushi, or similar item. The bonus period runs from 19 September to 27 December 2026, and the points are scheduled to be awarded around 2027.
The application guidelines state that reservation periods, collection dates, and stores vary by product, and that customers should check the in-store catalog or the relevant page on the official Maruetsu website. Online applications are accepted through Scan & Go, Yahoo! Shopping, and Rakuten Ichiba, among others.
