東京インキ announced its results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027. It raised its full-year forecast on the back of strong first-quarter performance and announced that it would increase the annual dividend to ¥95 while establishing a share repurchase authorization to strengthen shareholder returns.
東京インキ announced an overview of its results for the first quarter from 1 April to 30 June 2026, explaining that net sales and each profit measure increased year on year as a result of appropriate selling-price revisions in response to soaring raw material prices and growth in sales of high-margin products.
Net sales were ¥13,347 million, up 11.0% year on year. Operating income was ¥772 million, up 36.2%, ordinary income was ¥884 million, up 34.0%, and net income attributable to owners of the parent was ¥1,019 million, up 127.1%.
In its revision of the earnings forecast, the company raised its second-quarter forecast based on strong first-quarter performance and also raised its full-year forecast, although it expects the impact of soaring raw material prices in the second half. It also said that structural reforms would continue toward achieving the medium-term management plan, “TOKYOink 2027.”
As part of its shareholder returns, the company increased its annual dividend forecast to ¥95, up ¥32 from the previous fiscal year and ¥30 from the initial forecast, and established a ¥1.2 billion share repurchase authorization. The authorization covers up to 800,000 shares, equivalent to 6.4% of total shares issued.
