アスタリスク has revised its forecast for consolidated ordinary income for the current fiscal year downward, from a previously projected profit to a loss, and announced that the second-half outlook is also expected to turn to a loss. The company cited the recognition of an extraordinary loss and delays in recording sales as factors.
アスタリスク announced a revision to its consolidated earnings for the current fiscal year after the market close on 31 August, revising its forecast for consolidated ordinary income/loss for the fiscal year ending August 2026 downward from a previously projected ¥110 million profit to a ¥230 million loss. The same period of the previous fiscal year was also unprofitable.
The outlook for the second half of the current fiscal year was also revised from a previously projected ¥110 million profit to a ¥220 million loss, turning to a loss forecast.
The main reasons for the revision include an expected ¥101 million valuation loss on investment securities to be recorded as an extraordinary loss, as well as factors within the accounting period, including delays in recording sales.
