This reduces the burden of preparing data on users’ devices and makes it easier to reanalyze data when hypotheses change. Kari handles the entire process, from loading data and assigning data types to aggregation and chart creation, while ensuring transparency in the AI process.
The new feature is available from version 0.7.3 and can be used through Claude and ChatGPT subscriptions. It supports CSV files with more than 200,000 rows and multiple Excel files, allowing analysis to proceed without uploading files from the user’s device. A Python runtime is also included, enabling the direct use of libraries such as NumPy, Pandas and DuckDB.
The feature is designed around collaboration between AI and humans. Functions that allow the AI to supplement and suggest points for consideration, along with the processing steps, are saved in a form that people can review, enhancing transparency in the analysis. GotoAI plans to expand the feature set by the end of February 2027, including the automation of data analysis using machine learning and integration with internal databases.
