ホリイフードサービス reported net sales of ¥3,056 million, operating profit of ¥345 million, ordinary profit of ¥340 million and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥286 million for the interim period of the fiscal year ending November 2026, representing substantial year-on-year increases. The operating margin improved to 11.3%, while net sales rose 16.1%, operating profit increased 56.4%, ordinary profit grew 58.6% and interim net profit rose 27.1%. Although the change in the fiscal year-end affected the comparison, results also improved on a like-for-like basis.
Factors behind the expansion in results included strong reservations during the peak season, more efficient restaurant operations through the use of digital transformation, revisions to the core menu, price increases, and strong performance at new-format restaurants and locations that changed formats. Revenue and profit increased in the North Kanto, Tokyo metropolitan and Tohoku areas, while the equity ratio improved to 35.7%. The high-value-added "Emperor Steak" in the inbound tourism business achieved strong profitability, and the second location, Kyoto Sanjo, became profitable from its opening month.
