All three Chiikawa loungewear designs offered by SHIMAMURA are now available for pre-order, with the design featuring a large Usagi print reportedly proving particularly popular and receiving more than 7,500 likes.
SHIMAMURA has reportedly launched women’s loungewear in three designs featuring the popular character Chiikawa and begun taking pre-orders. The article highlights the particularly strong interest in the Usagi design.
The Usagi design features Usagi wearing sunglasses on its head against a cream-colored fabric, with an aloha-shirt-style design. It is described as being cute on both the front and back. With more than 7,500 likes, it is said to be by far the most popular design.
The other two designs are Gray 212 and Beige 214. Gray 212 features Usagi holding an octopus in each hand, with Hachiware depicted near the upper left of the pants. Beige 214 has a more understated single-point design on the left chest.
Pre-orders are open until 23:00 on 20 September 2026, with shipping expected from around mid-December 2026 through early January 2027. Each item will be handled as a pre-order product. The price is ¥3,289, and sizes are M, L and LL. The main fabric is 85% polyester and 15% cotton, while the ribbed sections are 95% polyester and 5% polyurethane.
