The earnings results announced by Miroku and Takasho after market close on 25 August showed an upward revision to Miroku's current fiscal-year outlook and strong first-half performance at Takasho.
Miroku, which released its earnings results after market close on 25 August, reportedly sharply raised its current fiscal-year net profit forecast from the previous ¥610 million profit forecast to a ¥2.84 billion profit. Gains of ¥2.2 billion on the sale of investment securities are expected to boost net profit.
The broad finalisation of the grant amount related to the construction of Miroku's Nissho plant was also incorporated as one factor behind the upward revision.
Takasho's first-half ordinary profit rose 32.7% year on year to ¥463 million, while the company secured higher revenue through design-ins and broader adoption.
Progress against its full-year plan of ¥520 million reached 89.0%, raising expectations for earnings to exceed the plan.
