JNグループ revised its consolidated net income forecast for the current period to a loss. The loss widened in the cumulative third quarter, and a full-year loss is now expected. The loss is equivalent to approximately 63.8% of net assets at the end of the previous fiscal year.
The company announced its results after the close on 14 October. Its consolidated net loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending November 2026 was ¥1.83 billion, widening from a net loss of ¥1.04 billion in the same period of the previous year.
The full-year earnings outlook was also revised downward, from the previous forecast of a ¥110 million profit to a ¥1.93 billion loss, a level that would impair net assets at the end of the previous fiscal year.
Based on the plan for the second half of the June–November period, consolidated net income was also revised from the previous forecast of a ¥1.52 billion profit to a ¥510 million loss, turning negative.
For the most recent three-month period, consolidated net loss for June–August was ¥420 million, while the operating margin on sales deteriorated sharply to -25.1% from -3.0% in the same period of the previous year.
