Analog Devices outlined a growth outlook calling for revenue of US$21.7 billion and profit of US$8.7 billion by 2029. Platform expansion for AI infrastructure and industrial applications is said to be a medium- to long-term earnings driver.
As part of its long-term business outlook, Analog Devices published targets of US$21.7 billion in revenue and US$8.7 billion in profit by 2029. These targets are based on projected annual revenue growth of 16.0% and an expected increase in current profit of approximately US$4.1 billion to approximately US$4.6 billion.
The company's strengths are said to include design advantages in high-value-added analog devices, power and signal processing for AI infrastructure, industrial and edge applications. In the short term, data center demand and trends in orders for energy projects could affect profitability.
Sensing-related projects with Moët Hennessy and the University of California, Davis are treated as examples demonstrating the effectiveness of the company's AI-driven sensing platform. In some areas, reuse of the platform is said to indicate that it can be applied to industrial fields other than data centers and automotive.
While some analyses estimate 14% upside to fair value for the stock, an optimistic outlook through 2029 also includes an estimate of US$29.5 billion in revenue and US$10.1 billion in profit. These figures are said to be under consideration as an alternative view.
