Yaskawa Electric revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027, raising revenue from ¥580 billion to ¥600 billion. With overseas markets accounting for a high proportion of sales, the outlook reflects the yen's depreciation against other currencies.
Yaskawa Electric raised revenue, equivalent to sales, in its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027 from ¥580 billion to ¥600 billion, and revised its net income forecast upward to ¥47.5 billion.
The company explained that the revision reflects overseas markets, including the Americas, accounting for more than 70% of revenue and the yen's continued depreciation against other currencies.
In the consolidated results for the August 2026 interim period announced on the same day, revenue rose 9.8% year on year to ¥285.5 billion, marking the first increase in interim-period revenue in 3 years. Net income was ¥18.9 billion.
At a press conference, Chairman and President Ogasawara Hiroshi (小笠原 浩) said, "Demand for data centers and other areas is expanding worldwide, and orders are increasing. We will increase earnings while accelerating production."
