RKB announced the launch of its announcer trading cards, “Battle Casters.” The cards feature 19 people in total: 18 RKB announcers and weather caster Tatsuyama Yasuo (龍山康朗), with 38 cards available overall. There are 2 types of cards, ON cards, showing the subjects in work mode, and OFF cards, featuring private-life and rare photographs with glitter coating. The format is designed for collectors to enjoy card battles.
Each pack contains 5 cards and costs ¥500, with 700 packs scheduled to be sold on both days. As a purchase promotion, customers who buy 2 or more packs at a time will receive 1 “King of Hakata” Guts D trading card free of charge. No HBC announcer cards will be sold at Colorful Fest.
The initiative is a collaborative project conceived by announcers from HBC Hokkaido Broadcasting. Collecting cards featuring announcers from both companies enables card battles between announcers from the north and south. RKB’s event “Colorful Fest 2026” has also been announced and is scheduled to take place at a venue in Momochihama over 2 days, 10 and 11 October 2026.
