Nakamura works as an employee coach at a Kurita Water Industries Group company and travels throughout Kanagawa Prefecture for sales activities. He is due to turn 47 next month and places emphasis on strengthening the team’s tactics and developing its players.
He adopts a style that gives players options while leaving decisions to them, demonstrating an approach aimed at balancing his corporate work and rugby. A graduate of Nippon Sport Science University, he played as a wing during his time at Higashiyama before moving into coaching after retiring as a player.
The goal for this season is to reach the promotion and relegation playoffs. He is committed to coaching, using travel time for analysis and preparing materials rather than wasting it.
