Google officially announced the next-generation Google Pixel Watch 5 at its Made by Google launch event on 12 August 2026. It will be available in 2 sizes, 41mm and 45mm, with Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi and 4G LTE model options.
The 41mm model will be available in 4 case colors—Matte Black, Polished Silver, Satin Pyrite and Champagne Gold—while the 45mm model will come in 3 colors: Matte Black, Polished Silver and Satin Pyrite. The specifications are largely unchanged from the previous model, with some revisions. The Japan-bound models are also expected to include Felica support for the Osaifu-Keitai mobile wallet service.
Key features include next-generation Gemini Intelligence support and deeper integration with the Google Health healthcare service. Raising the wrist to speak will be more responsive, enabling users to start workouts and check reservation details in emails directly, among other functions. Proactive suggestions and monthly health-data summaries through Health Guardian are also expected to be introduced.
The watch is newly powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated. More RAM, improved CPU performance and faster processing are intended to enhance the usability of health and fitness features, including improved GPS accuracy. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours for the 41mm model and up to 40 hours for the 45mm model, and fast charging is also supported.
