City Connection has released Muchi Muchi Pork! & Pink Sweets Boosted, featuring two bullet-hell shooters developed by CAVE. The game includes newly arranged BGM and 11 modes in total, as well as online rankings and replay functionality.
This title combines CAVE’s two bullet-hell shooters in a single package. In addition to modes that faithfully recreate the arcade versions, it includes numerous new features created specifically for this release. More than 11 modes are available overall, including high-difficulty modes that raise the challenge and practice modes.
Muchi Muchi Pork! is an exhilarating shooter in which players use the giant Lard Attack to collect score items. Its Arrange Mode adds a fever mechanic in which the Lard Attack fills the screen with items. In Pink Sweets, players block bullets with a shield and wipe out enemies with the Rose Cracker. Both titles add new weapons and new Arrange Modes.
The game includes online rankings and replay saving, allowing players to compete with players around the world, along with newly arranged BGM by a lineup of renowned composers. The MUCHI★PIN edition, which includes a soundtrack CD and guidebook as first-run production bonuses, has also been announced, along with bonus information for related merchandise.
The game is being released for Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC (Steam). The package version is ¥6,490 and the download version is ¥5,390. Steam is running a 10% discount campaign through 16 October.
