Against a backdrop of soaring condominium prices, rental properties designed for people to live with pets are attracting attention. A case involving a couple living in Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, was introduced as an example of a property developed by the Asahi Kasei Homes Group.
Soaring condominium prices are broadening the range of options in the rental market, bringing attention to pet-friendly rental properties equipped for dog and cat ownership. While many properties previously prohibited pets, the trend indicates that more properties are accepting pets as members of the family.
One example is a pet-friendly rental condominium developed by the Asahi Kasei Homes Group. As a specific example of residents’ lives, Masaya Sasaki (佐々木 雅也) and his wife live in the property in Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Properties of this type are reported to include extensive pet amenities and dedicated features such as air-conditioning controls. The report suggests that housing arrangements allowing people to live with pets may continue to spread.
