Ads for Humanity, a Hakuhodo DY Holdings subsidiary, has expanded distribution of Human Verified Ads using World ID to LINE, Yahoo, Meta, X and other platforms. It also announced a business partnership with TFH and LG Electronics, advancing integration between the ad delivery mechanism and data infrastructure.
Ads for Humanity, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hakuhodo DY Holdings, announced on 29 October that it had expanded distribution of its World ID-based human-authenticated advertising product, “Human Verified Ad,” to platforms including LINE Yahoo, Meta and X. World ID is a digital ID provided by Tools for Humanity. It uses iris and other forms of authentication to enable users to prove they are human without disclosing personal information. Ads are delivered to users who have completed this authentication, with the aim of preventing ad fraud.
For the expanded distribution, Ads for Humanity will also use AudienceOne, the consumer data platform provided by Hakuhodo DY ONE. The company is building an ad delivery data platform using authentication information from the consumer-facing Humad app. Humad has been available in beta since August.
