株式会社V has created and provided a giant 3D model of Thunderbird 3, which will appear in Lumarnity, a VRChat world developed by JGC Global. The project is being carried out as part of an initiative commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Japanese broadcast of “Thunderbirds.”
The new 3D model will be released in a way that connects it with Lumarnity’s setting, allowing visitors to take commemorative photographs with their avatars at a photo spot within the lunar smart community. It is scheduled to be released on 12 August 2026.
Lumarnity is a lunar smart community conceived by JGC Global and equipped with circular infrastructure centred on a lunar propellant production plant. The VRChat world depicts a lunar base, communications facilities, solar panels and other features.
This initiative is being pursued in collaboration with 東北新社, which is advancing the digital rollout, as part of the measures commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Japanese broadcast of “Thunderbirds.” It provides an opportunity to experience the world of “Thunderbirds” in social VR.
