日本ＰＣサービス株式会社 and SwitchBot株式会社 announced that they will launch KATA Friends In-Home Setup Support, a service providing on-site assistance with the initial setup of KATA Friends, an AI partner robot, from 1 September 2026 (Tuesday). Specialist staff will handle everything from unpacking and installation through installation of the dedicated app, Wi-Fi connection, account setup, and guidance on basic operation and how to interact with the robot. The service will be available at homes nationwide, for both individuals and businesses, and is also intended for installations made as gifts for family members.
The ¥19,800 fee includes the visit and service fees and is tax-inclusive. In some cases, home visits may be made on the same day at the earliest, although timing may vary depending on the region and the status of bookings. This arrangement is intended to provide prompt support for KATA Friends as it adapts to its environment.
