Norway forward Erling Haaland changed his long hair to a short style ahead of the new season. He revealed the new look in a video, which also showed reactions from teammates and his manager, as well as the result of the opening match.
Norway forward Erling Haaland made a major change from long hair to a short style ahead of the new English Premier League season. The change removed his trademark blond hair, and the new look has attracted attention alongside a video of the haircut.
In a video posted on social media, Haaland showed the process, joking about his appearance before the haircut and considering his new hairstyle. Afterward, he revealed the new look on video calls with teammate Jack Grealish, former band member Noel Gallagher and former manager Pep Guardiola.
Gallagher jokingly praised the hairstyle, saying Haaland looked about 17. Grealish and Guardiola also responded that they “loved it.” Haaland also shared an anecdote about being teased by Zlatan Ibrahimović over his advice not to cut his long hair, as part of a light-hearted joke.
Manchester City won their opening match 2-1 against Bournemouth. Haaland himself did not score in the match.
