ティア raised part of its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026, while sharply lowering its forecast for net income. It forecast that ordinary income would turn positive in the second half.
In a revision announced on 6 November, ティア raised its consolidated ordinary income forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 from the previous forecast of ¥870 million to ¥940 million. The previous fiscal year was ¥1.57 billion, so an increase is now expected. Meanwhile, full-year net income was sharply lowered from the previous forecast of ¥500 million to ¥40 million, with the decline expected to widen.
The company cited the recognition of an extraordinary loss as the reason for the revision, explaining that it had reviewed its full-year consolidated and non-consolidated earnings forecasts. The company said the forecasts were based on information available at this time and that actual results may vary depending on future factors.
For the second-half outlook, ordinary income for the April–September period is expected to turn positive, improving from the previous loss forecast. Ordinary income was approximately ¥1 million in the same period of the previous year, and the company expects an increase based on a return to profitability in the second half.
The revised earnings plan for the current fiscal year includes such metrics as net sales, operating income, ordinary income and net income, as well as revised figures for earnings per share and dividends.
