Hack Drug Totsuka store in Yokohama has reopened as a large-format flagship store. In addition to expanding its food offering, the store will house the Care Capsule function and a home-care support consultation desk under one roof.
Hack Drug Totsuka store in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, has reopened as a drug-and-food format store with an expanded food offering, an initiative the company has been pursuing since last year. It is the 59th drug-and-food store in total. The store will serve as a large-format flagship designed to support customers through the life stages of pre-disease care, prevention, treatment and nursing care.
As part of the refurbishment, the store has incorporated the Care Capsule function and established an in-store consultation desk for home-care support staffed by a dedicated care manager. Its food selection has been expanded, mainly with products from Aeon Topvalu.
The store also includes a Can Do 100-yen shop area offering low-priced household goods. In health care and beauty, professionals including pharmacists will provide support for health and wellness enhancement from health measurement and consultation spaces.
The home-care support consultation service is scheduled to begin in February 2027. Store details are as follows: selling floor area of approximately 1,988.16 m² (approximately 601 tsubo), 47 staff, and parking for 88 vehicles. The store initially opened in March 1979 and will reopen after refurbishment on 24 October 2026.
