SBI Group has indicated its policy of acquiring approximately 20% of Brangista’s shares through market purchases. Meanwhile, the high-margin outlook for renewal revenue from ACCEL JAPAN and the Southeast Asian e-commerce market, estimated at ¥65 trillion in GMV, are cited as examples.
Brangista operates a sales promotion support business combining advertising materials with e-commerce operations support, and its ACCEL JAPAN renewal revenue is said to be generating high margins and supporting business performance. The company’s latest earnings presentation also shows that renewal revenue is making an increasing contribution to earnings growth.
In a timely disclosure, SBI Group indicated that it is not currently holding a 20% stake, but plans to acquire approximately 20% through market purchases by the end of March 2027. It was also explained that the ¥65 trillion size of the Southeast Asian e-commerce market is an estimate of the target market’s GMV and does not represent the transaction volume of Brangista and its partners.
The renewal revenue from ACCEL JAPAN, the customer acquisition network provided through SBI, and the scale of the Southeast Asian e-commerce market are now at the stage of being assessed for their potential to drive a second phase of profit growth. The indicators to be checked at each earnings release include trends in operating profit and the impact of contract terms.
