Tokyu Stay Shinjuku in Shinjuku-sanchome will undergo a full-property renovation to accommodate the increase in inbound guests and their diverse accommodation needs, and will reopen on Tuesday, 29 September. The number of rooms will be reduced from the previous 179 to 120, while the average room size will be expanded to approximately 25 sq. m. Newly introduced rooms accommodating up to 4 guests will enable the property to serve a broad range of stays, from couples to families and groups.
乃村工藝社 will oversee the project on an integrated basis, from concept development and spatial design to signage and art direction, as well as directing the collaborating creators. Based on the unified “SANKADO SQUARE” concept, the property’s design will create spaces that embody the history and culture of Shinjuku-sanchome.
