South Korea's Fasoo AI has announced its Security Care Service for small and medium-sized enterprises. The service provides support in stages, from vulnerability assessments and employee training to the development of security solutions, with implementation tailored to each company's circumstances. It is built around 3 core areas—infrastructure, people and data—and is designed to allow companies to implement the measures they need at each stage.
The service's key feature is its phased structure, which enables companies to adopt it according to their budgets and priorities. It also supports the SECaaS (security-as-a-service) model. Companies can combine solutions according to their circumstances, including data encryption and backup for ransomware protection, intellectual property protection, and data protection for external collaboration.
Stage 1 involves a detailed inspection of IT infrastructure, web and mobile services, and PCs, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities such as misconfigurations and unpatched systems. At the same time, priorities are established for areas requiring urgent action. Fasoo AI draws on the expertise it has accumulated as a government-designated information security service provider.
Stage 2 consists of simulated malicious-email exercises and training for employees. Emails resembling actual attacks are used to assess employees' response capabilities and prevent damage caused by erroneous clicks.
