On 2 November, Toyota Motor announced the Crown Estate as a partial upgrade to the new-generation Crown series and began sales in Japan. This is the final partial upgrade for the series, with new grades added to both the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, expanding the lineup to 4 grades.
The lineup now comprises 4 grades, including the newly introduced hybrid ESTATE G and plug-in hybrid ESTATE Z (PHEV), with all grades equipped with E-Four electric 4WD.
The pricing and equipment of the newly introduced grades have been revised from the previous models, with the overall product offering being strengthened through equipment standardization and functional upgrades.
The existing ESTATE Z and RS remain available without changes, while the latest upgrade lowers the entry-level price positioning of the ESTATE G and is intended to reduce the effective customer burden when CER subsidies apply.
