INSIGHT ACADEMY will hold a free online seminar on care for expatriates' accompanying family members on 10 November 2026, using recordings of past seminars for the live stream.
インサイトアカデミー株式会社, which develops global talent, will hold a free online seminar on support for expatriates' accompanying family members, titled “A Guide to Care for Accompanying Family Members That Helps Maximize Expatriate Performance,” on Tuesday, 10 November 2026. The seminar will be conducted as a live stream of recordings of past presentations.
It has been pointed out that the satisfaction and adaptation of accompanying family members to life in their host country can affect expatriates' work efficiency and performance. At the same time, measures by Japanese companies to date are said to have centered on support based on spouses' attitudes and have not been formalized. The seminar will focus on the candid views of accompanying family members and explain how companies should provide support.
The seminar will consist of 2 parts: main content in the first half and a panel discussion in the second half. The main session will cover a guide to care for accompanying family members that contributes to maximizing expatriate performance, and introduce support methods that help expatriate couples adapt to changes and retain talent.
The second-half panel will feature Iinuma Michie (飯沼ミチエ), former representative of Global Life Design, and Kim Jin-seop (金珍燮), representative of INSIGHT ACADEMY. They will discuss stress management, approaches to talent development suited to the times, and the characteristics of expatriates. The seminar is for corporate participants, registration is accepted only with a work email address, and individual participation is not permitted.
