AEON appointed Hanaoka Nobutada (花岡伸忠) president of its Myanmar subsidiary AEON Orange, effective 21 October. Hanaoka is currently assigned to AEON's ASEAN business operations.
AEON announced that it had appointed Hanaoka Nobutada (花岡伸忠) president of its Myanmar subsidiary AEON Orange. Hanaoka currently oversees ASEAN business operations.
Hanaoka was born in 1972 and is 53 years old. After joining Jusco, now AEON, in 1999, he served as head of the Control Department at AEON Big Malaysia and in other positions before becoming CGO (chief governance officer) of AEON Malaysia in June 2020 and a director of AEON Big Malaysia in July of the same year.
Since 2022, he has been assigned to AEON's ASEAN business operations and continues to hold that position. In connection with this, he will take up the position of president of AEON Orange, AEON's Myanmar subsidiary.
The above personnel change is based on the announcement issued the same day. The current arrangements will continue unchanged.
