一般社団法人日本ドローンビジネスサポート協会 has launched the free portal dronebiz.pro, which compiles primary information on the drone business and publishes winning-bid data for public-sector contracts and median prices by service.
The portal site dronebiz.pro, which compiles primary information supporting the drone business, has been launched, offering free access to 81 links across 20 categories, including regulations, qualifications, service standards and industry information. No registration is required, and the site provides entry points arranged in the order of practical business processes. The association has also published industry data compiled from publicly available information.
The data shows 648 public-sector contracts awarded to date, totaling ¥20.30 billion, including 112 contracts totaling ¥3.30 billion in the latest fiscal year, fiscal 2025. There have been 854 tender notices since 2021. By business category, equipment purchases account for 52.9%, inspections 14.5%, aerial photography and video 8.7%, and surveying 8.3%, while municipalities account for approximately 94.0% of commissioning entities.
Median prices by service are ¥141,000 for surveying, ¥109,588 for training, ¥55,000 for aerial photography and video, and ¥26,000 for inspections and surveys. Price ranges covering the 25th to 75th percentiles are also provided. The site lists 3,319 operators and 1,222 registered training institution offices, along with their distribution by prefecture.
The data notes that prices are medians calculated by treating each company's published fees as one observation, and exclude optional charges and examination fees. It also states that the periods and coverage of the tender notices and awarded amounts do not overlap, and that the figures do not track the same contracts.
