イチケン, a rapidly growing general contractor focused on commercial facilities, posted record-high sales of ¥106.1 billion and operating profit of ¥9.0 billion for the fiscal year ending March 2026. Under its Long-Term Vision 2035 plan, it aims for sales of ¥150 billion and an operating margin of at least 7%.
イチケン is a general contractor with strengths in commercial facility construction and has built a track record involving shopping centers, supermarkets and hotels. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, consolidated sales were ¥106.1 billion and operating profit was ¥9.0 billion, both reaching record highs.
Compared with the past, sales changed from ¥83.7 billion and operating profit from ¥4.6 billion in the fiscal year ended March 2022 to the current levels, representing a 27% increase in sales and nearly a doubling of operating profit. As the market environment changed, the restructuring of large distribution facilities after the COVID-19 pandemic and the opening of stores on former general merchandise store sites progressed, highlighting the company’s strengths in renovation and scrap-and-build projects.
New president Masakiyo Hiroaki (政清 弘晃) said, “Business opportunities are emerging now,” explaining that demand for construction projects of the company’s scale is increasing as more customers open stores on former large commercial facility sites. The company plans to continue expanding its business, primarily through the design and construction of large facilities, targeting sales of ¥150 billion and an operating margin of at least 7% in 2035.
The company is also seen as having had more opportunities to win large-scale projects since its new president took office in April 2026. Examples of its construction work include Coop Kasukabe Terrace in Saitama and FLAT Kodaira in Tokyo.
