Mochida Pharmaceutical has signed a sales partnership agreement for its nerve regeneration material “ReFeel” with the US subsidiary of Ireland-based PBC Biomed, which manufactures medical devices and provides consulting services. As a result, its US subsidiary is scheduled to begin nationwide sales using PBC’s distributor network.
ReFeel is a sheet-form medical device consisting of sodium alginate and a polyglycolic acid nonwoven fabric, and is intended to promote the repair and regeneration of damaged nerves. Mochida Pharmaceutical aims to grow its biomaterials business through this initiative.
The partnership is expected to accelerate the expansion of the company’s business through the expansion of its US sales network. Attention will focus on further updates, including the timing of the sales launch and the distributor structure.
