Orico Group held I&D training with the City of Helsinki on 13 October. Through diverse perspectives and dialogue, the training explored what organizations where people can thrive should look like in the age of AI.
Orient Corporation (Orico) held inclusion and diversity (I&D) training for executives in collaboration with the City of Helsinki and Business Helsinki. Participants engaged in dialogue with representatives of the City of Helsinki and Finnish companies and universities, learning approaches to enabling people to demonstrate their capabilities in the age of AI and linking this to organizational transformation and value creation.
As background, the Orico Group identified advancing inclusion, which makes use of diverse talent, as a key priority. Finland was introduced as a country that has achieved sustainable growth through investment in human capital and well-being. The training was held with a focus on how Finland links the capabilities of its people to innovation while facing social issues similar to those in Japan.
The training included a three-way discussion and panel discussion featuring the Mayor of Helsinki, a well-being envoy and Orico's President and Representative Director. The participants examined from multiple perspectives what companies and organizations should look like.
Going forward, the Orico Group will reflect the insights gained through the training in its management and talent and organizational initiatives, develop an environment conducive to transformation and new value creation, and pursue sustainable growth and enhanced corporate value.
