The hotel in Kobe Sannomiya Twin Gate has been named GRAND GENTLE KOBE, with 63 rooms and projected room rates of ¥50,000–¥400,000. The hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2028 and aims to become Kobe's first luxury lifestyle hotel.
The hotel in Kobe Sannomiya Twin Gate in Chuo-ku, Kobe, has been named GRAND GENTLE KOBE. It will be the second property under TAKE AND GIVE. NEEDS' GENTLE brand. The hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2028.
The hotel will have 63 rooms ranging from 30 m² to 130 m², with projected room rates of ¥50,000–¥400,000. The concept renderings show bathrooms equipped with freestanding bathtubs and terrace-style spaces.
The facilities are planned to include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a specialty bar, a rooftop pool, a spa, a fitness gym, banquet facilities and a chapel, among others, with the hotel also designed to accommodate weddings and conventions.
Previous articles referred to the project under the provisional name EVOL HOTEL KOBE, with an opening planned around FY2027, 60–70 rooms and projected rates of approximately ¥30,000–¥200,000. The opening timing and projected rates have been significantly revised along with the naming of the hotel.
