Yokohama FC participated in multiple events in Yokohama in September and reported on activities including plastic-bottle-cap art exhibitions and community events. The activities included exhibiting a QR-code artwork linking to the information page for Minami Ward Residents' Day, as well as interaction at Smile Family, soccer clinics and a festa.
On 2 September, integrated studies were held at Makita Elementary School, where students in Class 3-1 studied environmental conservation using the collection of plastic-bottle caps as their theme. They applied what they had learned to create plastic-bottle-cap art, which was planned for display at the Minami Ward Residents' Day venue. Yokohama FC club staff visited the class and introduced the club's environmental initiatives.
One of the completed works was designed to resemble a QR code. When scanned with a smartphone, it connects to the information page for Minami Ward Residents' Day. The work was displayed in advance at the Minami Ward Office, helping inform many visitors about the event.
On 3 September, Yokohama FC Smile Family Supported by 横浜冷凍 was held at Rapport Kamiooka. Children and coaches took part in physical activities through a monthly gathering, and information was also provided about recruiting new members.
On 29 September, a soccer clinic was held at Hatsunegaoka Kindergarten. In bad weather, children experienced playing barefoot indoors. The club announced that it would continue interacting with children through soccer. In addition, the 1st Yokohama Nishiguchi Kariyushi Festa was held on 26 and 27 September, with Furimaru energizing the venue. A lottery for purchasers spending ¥1,000 or more offered uniforms and supporter rice as prizes, and many visitors took part.
