ZETA DIVISION has renewed its partnership with Riot Games. The new season of the VALORANT competitive circuit, opening in 2027, will see the team compete in the Pacific region from Kickoff, with a transition to a 4-region structure and a new format.
On 19 October, ZETA DIVISION announced that it had renewed its partnership with Riot Games and would compete in the Pacific region in the 2027 opening season of the VALORANT competitive circuit. As a team representing Japan, it will remain part of the Pacific region in the new season and compete from Kickoff. The announcement also indicated that events in Japan are expected to resume for the first time in 4 years.
From 2027, the competition will comprise 4 regions: the Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China, with tournaments serving as the primary format. The organization explained that the competitive environment would shift from a league-based model to one led by tournaments, including expanded open-qualifier slots and newly established “Cups.” ZETA said it aims to reach the top of the world under the new structure.
ZETA emphasized in the announcement that achieving the renewed partnership was not the work of the team alone. It acknowledged the support of its players and staff, creators, sponsors and fans, and said it would build excitement for the new challenge together with its fans.
