Gurunavi,Inc. and JA Zen-Noh will jointly hold the Local Onigiri Grand Prix 2026 from 1 October to 30 November. JA Zen-Noh and Gurunavi,Inc. announced that they will hold the Local Onigiri Grand Prix 2026 from 1 October to 30 November as part of the "Eat Rice and Smile Project." A total of 160 restaurants nationwide will participate, with each restaurant offering an original local onigiri for a limited time.
Consumers will vote through a dedicated website to determine the Grand Prix winner. Corporate awards presented by participating companies and organizations will also be established, and a social media campaign will offer 5 kg of rice to a total of 100 winners selected by lottery.
