The CPU can be selected from the Core 3 304 and Core 5 320, while specifications include 8GB or 12GB of memory, a 512GB SSD, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and Wi-Fi 6E support.
CMF by Nothing teased the “CMF Speaker S/M” in a post on its official X account. The S and M in the name appear to represent two sizes, small and large. The official teaser shows a design with a handle and a cross-shaped dial on the front, but output and battery-life specifications have not been disclosed. The Japanese launch timing is also undecided, while the announcement is scheduled for 12 October. Information on the actual device remains limited at this stage.
9to5Google reported on a next-generation Google TV Streamer. The device is expected to retain the current model’s design while becoming narrower and more compact, incorporate a microphone for hands-free operation and display the time and weather when presence detection senses someone approaching. Storage may be increased from the current 32GB, and the remote may gain 2 shortcut buttons, but the launch timing and price have not been decided.
Overall, the Swift Air 14 is attracting attention as an entry-level model emphasizing light weight, a slim design and a high refresh rate. The CMF Speaker S/M is a teaser for a new product focused on design and portability, while the next-generation Google TV Streamer represents an effort to integrate smart-speaker functions around the television. The focus will be on how specific specifications and pricing are finalized in future official announcements.
