The Yamagata Bank Head Office Building was selected to receive the Yamagata Prefectural Governor’s Award, the top prize at the 39th Yamagata Landscape Awards. The new building was recognised for contributing to the revitalisation of the central urban area.
The awards recognise buildings and activities that contribute to regional development. They are organised by the Yamagata Economic Association, with 6 of 26 entries selected following the final judging.
