This represented a 4.8% increase in profit year on year. In response, the company left its full-year forecast unchanged, with progress reaching 61.3%.
For the second half, the company estimates that consolidated ordinary profit for the January–March quarter will decline 32.5% year on year to ¥1.51 billion. In the July–September quarter, the latest three-month period, ordinary profit was ¥920 million, down 38.1% year on year. The operating margin on sales deteriorated from 4.2% to 2.9%.
