Ryosan Ryoyo Holdings revised its ordinary profit forecast for the current fiscal year from undisclosed to ¥11.0 billion, up 23.2% year on year. It also released its first-quarter results and a new full-year outlook.
Ryosan Ryoyo Holdings announced its results after the market close on 7 August, revising its previously undetermined full-year ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 to ¥11.0 billion, representing a 23.2% increase. Consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter (April-June) was ¥3.66 billion, 3.0 times the year-earlier level, while revenue was ¥89,800 million and the operating margin improved to 3.9%.
As the reason for revising its full-year earnings forecast, the company cited the difficulty of reasonably estimating the impact of the termination of its definitive contract with Renesas. Although some businesses in the device segment are expected to wind down, the company expects business to remain solid as inventory adjustments ease and demand for memory semiconductors expands, and indicated that strong IT investment is expected to continue.
