Manchester City have unveiled their third kit for the season. Fans designed it using an AI tool, and it was selected by a vote from more than 18,000 submissions. The white-based design features sky blue and navy bands running across the center.
Manchester City have unveiled their third kit for the season in what is described as the first-ever attempt to create a design using an AI tool with fan input. More than 18,000 designs were submitted from over 200 countries and regions, with the final design decided by a fan vote. The design was created using PUMA AI Creator, an AI design tool that generates designs within seconds when a text prompt is entered.
The new kit is primarily white, with a distinctive gradient sky blue and navy band running across the center. Images were released showing Norway international forward Erling Braut Haaland, new signing Morocco international midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi and Nadeshiko Japan midfielder Hasegawa Yui (長谷川 唯) wearing the kit.
Comments such as “This is so cool” and “AI is amazing…” have been posted on social media, generating a strong response.
