The Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium (MCPC) will hold its 14th Case Study Seminar, titled "AI as a Company-Wide Capability: Toshiba Tec's Company-Wide AI Initiative, Practical Applications in Operations, Development and External Communications." The seminar will feature practical examples of implementing AI across the organisation, with Toshiba Tec's company-wide AI initiatives as its theme.
As AI technologies, including generative AI, expand from supporting individual tasks to improving productivity across entire organisations and transforming business processes, challenges include coordination between departments, establishing suitable usage environments and encouraging employees to make use of AI. From these perspectives, the seminar will present practical examples based on Toshiba Tec's company-wide initiative.
MCPC continues to share case studies on business transformation and operational efficiency through advanced technologies and data utilisation, with the aim of supporting digital transformation. This seminar will also address the practical use of AI by companies and provide participants with an opportunity to gain specific insights.
The seminar will be held on 17 November 2026, from 15:20 to 16:30. It will be broadcast online via Zoom, participation is free and capacity is 500 people. The presentation will be delivered by Miyasaka Mayumi (宮坂 真弓), Leader of Toshiba Tec's TEC AI Innovation Hub.
